Due to a few cancellations, John and Kelly Schroeder of Valleybrook Gardens now have room for two more couples on their horticultural tour to India this October. This will be their 7th industry tour, and past participants have really enjoyed the combination of business and pleasure traveling. The maximum number of participants is 16 passengers.

The full itinerary and details are available on our website at www.valleybrook.com.

India is an incredible, diverse country that begs to be experienced. The country is similar in size to Europe, and is home to multiple cultures, ancient and modern, and a host of historic and architectural treasures unparalleled in the world. A two week trip is only enough to scratch the surface, but perhaps that will only be enough to entice you to return in the future. The trip will focus on the north, from Delhi where the ancient meets the new, Agra, home of the incomparable Taj Mahal, Jaipur with it's history and architecture, colour and incredible shopping, to Shimla, in the foothills of the Himalayas. To never experience India would be to miss one of the most exotic, colorful, sensory places on earth.
This trip includes a three-night safari experience at Banjaar Tola in Kanha National Park. (operated by &Beyond, formerly CCAfrica). This is the same international award winning company that operates a number of outstanding safari camps in Africa. Banjaar Tola offers ultimate tented luxury accomodations overlooking a jungle river, and is itself the recipient of awards and highest accolades. Viewing a tiger from the back of an elephant may well be one of life's most cherished memories.

Since this is a horticultural tour, visits to private and public gardens are included, along with a nursery and other stops of horticultural interest. However, there are virtually no well established ornamental nurseries and garden centers in the country, so this tour will have a lesser focus on the nursery business and more focus on the incredible experiences of the country.

Start Date: The tour starts in Delhi October 20.
